2021年8月24日，泰国驻沪总领事馆携手泰国国家旅游局驻上海办事处（TAT）和上海素凯泰酒店联合举办了首次泰国小食与美酒品鉴会“与泰王国驻上海总领事馆邂逅”活动，这也是继2021由泰国驻沪总领事馆主办泰国节后以“泰想念”为主题举办的相关活动。仍记得泰国节为期三天的活动中，有超过4500名的泰国的朋友和粉丝们参加了活动。
On 24 August 2021, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Shanghai Office, and the Sukhothai Shanghai, organized the Thai Canapé Night with Wine Pairing “Dating with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai” for the very first time to follow “泰想念” Thai Festival 2021, hosted by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in May this year, where more than 4,500 friends and fans of Thailand turned out during the three-day event.
本次的邂逅之夜，我们特邀了一批中外粉丝们成功体验到了包含着甜、酸、辣口味的一口食泰式美食（一口大小的泰国美食），也向大家展示了泰国北部、东北部、中部和南部四个不同区域。
This dating night successfully brought our selected group of Chinese and foreign fans to experience the sweet, sour and spicy Thai selected dishes in canapé style (bite-sized Thai food) with magnificent display, featuring all four different regions of Thailand which are the North, the Northeastern, the Central and the South.
在泰国驻沪总领事乐达·普玛女士的主持下，在熟悉的泰国风味和热情好客的友好氛围中，大家也相互互动并且热情奔放。乐达总领事向大家介绍了泰国的景观和地理位置，使得泰国的每个地区都有着独特的当地美食。这些故事与精致的美食展示一起生动地呈现在大家面前，且所有美食均由米其林指南曼谷素凯泰酒店Celadon泰国餐厅主厨 Rosarin为大家呈现。
The dating was very interactive and warm in a familiar atmosphere of Thai taste and hospitality, mastered by Ms. Lada Phumas, the Consul-General of Thailand in Shanghai. Consul-General Lada introduced Thailand’s landscape and geographical location which allows each and every region enjoy its unique characteristics of local food. The stories were vividly presented together with the refined showcases of dishes, prepared by Chef Rosarin, Chef de Cuisine of the Michelin guide from the Thai restaurant Celadon of the Sukhothai Bangkok.
本次邂逅之夜的菜单包括来自泰国北部的Naam Prik Ong蘸酱（番茄肉碎辣酱）；Khao Soi（咖喱汤配鸡蛋面和肉，撒上切碎的红葱碎和柠檬片）；来自泰国东北部的Som Tum（青木瓜沙拉）；Kor Moo Yang（烤猪颈肉蘸 I-saan 风格的酱汁）；来自泰国中部的Miang Kham（蒌叶中包裹的各种一口大小的配料）和Mi Grob Chao Wang（酸甜口味的皇家脆炸米粉）；和来自泰国南部的Khao Yum Naam Bu-dhu（凉拌米粒沙拉配南部鱼露）和Khua Kling（泰国南部干炸黄咖喱肉末）。最后，这个美好的夜晚以泰国著名的夏季甜点Kao Neow Mamuang（芒果糯米饭）结束，该甜点被世界各地评选为最受欢迎的菜品之一。
The Thai Canapé menus for the dating night included Naam Prik Ong (ground pork in chili paste and sour tomatoes) and Khao Soi (a curry broth with egg noodles and meat, topped with chopped shallots and lime slices) from the northern Thailand; Som Tum (green papaya salad) and Kor Moo Yang (grilled pork neck dipped with I-saan style sauce) from the northeastern part of Thailand; Miang Kham (savory leaf-wrapped various ingredients in bite-sized pieces) and Mi Grob Chao Wang (royal crispy fried rice noodle with sweet and sour taste) from the central region; and Khao Yum Naam Bu-dhu (herbal rice salad with southern fish sauce) and Khua Kling (southern Thai dry-fried meat in yellow curry) from the south. The lovely night was ended with Thailand’s famous summer dessert Kao Neow Mamuang (Sticky Rice with Mango), which has been voted as one of the most popular menus by travelers all over the world.

Matching with the unique taste and flavor of Thai Canapé, selected kinds of wines from different places of origin such as China, France and Italy have been served to embrace Thai culture’s richness and charms of multiculturalism. In addition, our fans were able to enjoy Thai “Chang” beer, one of the top and famous Thai beer brands, which was provided throughout the dating night.
中国的顶尖媒体和网红（KOL）们及各位泰国的中外朋友们的到场，是这次活动成为一个特别的、甜蜜和愉快的夜晚，并充满了泰国美食和泰国文化故事，在大家一起度过的两个小时的洗后之夜，只用品尝一口食物，就可以体验到不同地区不同省府，这也使得我们的粉丝朋友们更加接近泰国。
Top Chinese media and KOL as well as Chinese and foreign friends of Thailand showed up and made the night a special, sweet and enjoyable night, full of Thailand’s narratives of food and culture. All of them had spent together the two-hour travelling night to experience many provinces in the different regions of Thailand through just only a bite taste of food, which allows our fans to come closer to Thailand.

Consul-General Lada also gave an exclusive interview to the media friends regarding the background and objectives of this special dating, sending also her love messages to friends of Thailand in Shanghai and China. A special gratitude and heartfelt welcome had been forwarded back since Thai and Chinese peoples are still in love and miss each other.
