Consul-General Exchanged on RCEP and Attended Hongqiao Sub-Forum at the 5th CIIE
泰国驻沪总领事就RCEP进行交流并出席第五届进博会虹桥分论坛
2022年11月7日，泰王国驻上海总领事乐达·普玛女士在第五届中国国际进口博览会（CIIE）期间在上海举行的第一届RCEP报关协会国际论坛上分享了泰国对区域全面经济伙伴关系（RCEP）的看法。
On 7 November 2022, Ms. Lada Phumas, Consul-General of Thailand in Shanghai, shared Thailand's perspective on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) at the 1st RCEP Customs Brokers Association International Forum, held during the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
本次论坛由中国报关协会、上海进博局和上海国家会展中心共同举办，旨在促进RCEP协定的有效实施和贸易便利化。
This event was co-hosted by the China Customs Brokers Association, CIIE Bureau and National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), aiming to promote the effective implementation of the RCEP and trade facilitation.
在强调RCEP协定如何为该地区注入新的经济动力的同时，乐达总领事还建议在高效通关、更大程度地利用数字技术支持跨境贸易、无缝物流以及增强RCEP协定与区域内其他现有自由贸易协定之间的互补性等方面建立更密切的合作。
While highlighting how the RCEP has injected new economic impetus to the region, Consul-General Lada also suggested on building closer cooperation on effecient customs clerance, greater utilization of digital technology to support cross-border trade as well as seamless logistics and enhanced complementarity between the RCEP and other existing FTAs in the region.

Prior to this, on 6 November 2022, Consul-General Lada was invited to the Sub-Forum on High-Level Institutional Opening-up of Pudong and Global Economic Governance of the 5th Hongqiao International Economic Forum.
分论坛由上海市市长龚正先生主持开幕，强调了浦东在高水平开放和高质量发展方面坚定不移的努力，以及上海和浦东在中国社会主义现代化建设中的先锋作用，这是习近平主席所嘱咐的，并且符合2022年10月中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会的成果。
The Sub-Forum was opened by Mr. Gong Zheng, Mayor of Shanghai, which underlined Pudong's unwavering efforts on high-level opening-up and high-quality development as well as Shanghai and Pudong's pioneering role in China's socialist modernization as entrusted by President Xi Jinping and in line with the outcomes of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in October 2022.
浦东相关单位领导还就陆家嘴金融区、张江高科技园区和中国（上海）自由贸易试验区在临港片区、外高桥片区和金桥片区的发展情况作了介绍。
The executives of relevant offices of Pudong also made presentations on the development of Lujiazui Financial District, Zhangjiang High-Tech Park and China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zones in Lingang, Waigaoqiao and Jinqiao.
在分论坛上，乐达总领事与其他驻沪总领事和领事团成员还与浦东新区副区长杨朝先生进行了相关交流与讨论。
At the Sub-Forum, Consul-General Lada, together with other Consuls-General and members of consular corps in Shanghai, also had a discussion with Mr. Yang Chao, Deputy Mayor of Pudong.
此外，2022年11月8日，泰王国驻上海总领事馆还出席了长三角G60科创走廊高质量发展要素对接大会，以促进长三角地区中G60公路沿线9个城市的经济一体化发展。
Moreover, on 8 November 2022, the Royal Thai Consulate-General attended the Conference on High-Quality Development of the G60 S&T Innovation Valley of the Yangtze River Delta (YRD), with a view to promoting economic integration of 9 cities in the YRD that are on the route of G60 Highway.
