เมื่อ 22 มกราคม 2564 น.ส. ลดา ภู่มาศ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครเซี่ยงไฮ้ ได้เข้าพบหารือนาย Akio Isomata กงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่น ณ นครเซี่ยงไฮ้ ณ ที่ทำการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ญี่ปุ่น เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเดินทางมารับตำแหน่ง ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดระหว่างไทยกับญี่ปุ่น และประเด็นต่าง ๆ ทั้งในระดับทวิภาคีและระดับภูมิภาค รวมถึงแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นและประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับการดูแลชนชาติและธุรกิจในเขตกงสุล รวมทั้งการดำเนินกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระดับประชาชน และการบริหารจัดการสถานการณ์ระบาดของ COVID-19

On 22 January 2021, Ms. Lada Phumas, Consul-General of Thailand in Shanghai, met with Mr. Akio Isomata, Consul-General of Japan, at the Consulate-General of Japan in Shanghai.

Both sides discussed at length about the close and cordial ties between Thailand and Japan, as well as other bilateral and regional issues. They also exchanged experiences and views on consular services, promotion of people-to-people contact, and the management of COVID-19 situation.
