เมื่อ 21 มกราคม 2564 น.ส. ลดา ภู่มาศ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครเซี่ยงไฮ้ ได้เข้าพบหารือนาย Chua Teng Hoe กงสุลใหญ่สิงคโปร์ ณ นครเซี่ยงไฮ้ ณ ที่ทำการสถานกงสุลใหญ่สิงคโปร์ เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเดินทางมารับตำแหน่ง

ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่ใกล้ชิดระหว่างไทยกับสิงคโปร์ และความร่วมมือสิงคโปร์ – จีน รวมทั้งแนวทางส่งเสริมบทบาทของกงสุลใหญ่ประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน เพื่อผลักดันประเด็นผลประโยชน์ร่วมของอาเซียน    ในเซี่ยงไฮ้และพื้นที่เขตเศรษฐกิจปากแม่น้ำแยงซีโดยเฉพาะในปีนี้ที่ครบ 30 ปีความสัมพันธ์อาเซียน – จีน นอกจากนี้ ยังหารือประเด็นอื่น ๆ เช่น การเป็นประธานอาเซียนของบรูไนดารุสซาลามในปีนี้ การใช้ประโยชน์จาก RCEP การเป็นเจ้าภาพ APEC ของไทยในปี 2565 และการบริหารจัดการสถานการณ์การระบาดของ COVID-19 เป็นต้น

On 21 January 2021, Ms. Lada Phumas, who recently took office as Consul-General of Thailand in Shanghai, met with Mr. Chua Teng Hoe, Consul-General of Singapore, at the Consulate-General of Singapore in Shanghai.

Both sides discussed at length about the close and cordial ties between Thailand and Singapore, Sino-Singapore cooperation, as well as ways and means to enhance the role of ASEAN Consul-Generals to promote ASEAN’s joint interests in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, particularly in the year 2021 which marks the 30^th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Relations. Other topics discussed also included 2021 ASEAN Chairmanship of Brunei, benefits from RCEP, Thailand’s 2022 APEC Chairmanship, and the management of COVID-19 situation.
